Trendy Threads opened on
April 17, 2007
Janice has been a thrift store junkie for what seems like forever. Her goal for Trendy Threads is to offer quality used clothing in a retail setting. She has
accomplished that goal. Customers comment frequently on how "nicely" the store smells and how organized everything is. Prior to opening this store, Janice owned Cheap Kids II (a childrens' consignment clothing store) in Barre, VT for 10 years. She was awarded the Small Business Association's Vermont Microenterprise Award in 2007 for her commitment and dedication to that community. Her marriage to Gary Scruton in 2004 made her a New Hampshire resident and made the decision to open a business on the other side of the mountain a reality.
Recycle and Reuse
